Who We Are

Chicago Lumber & Building Materials is a referral service. Visitors use this site to request quotes for lumber and building materials in Chicago and Chicagoland. We pass those requests to partner suppliers in our network, and the suppliers prepare the quotes.

What the Quote Form Collects

When you submit the form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, ZIP or postal code, and, if you provide them, your city, state, and company. We also collect what you tell us about your request: product type, service, quantity, grade, and your message, along with the address of the page you sent the form from.

How Your Request Is Shared

Your request goes to the 1DB lead platform, which delivers it to partner suppliers so they can prepare a quote and contact you about it. Each supplier handles your information under its own policies.

Retention

We keep quote requests for as long as they are needed to handle your request and follow up on it, and to meet record-keeping obligations.

Analytics and Cookies

This site uses PostHog analytics to count visits and understand how pages are used, and it sets no advertising cookies. Visitors in Europe and visitors whose browser sends a privacy signal, such as Global Privacy Control, are counted without cookies or storage on their device. For other visitors, PostHog may store an analytics identifier in the browser.
